ABOUT US

Founded in 2006, Horniman Dance School was founded by ARAD and RAD Teaching Cert (RTS) Principal Franca Maria Vinnicombe. Franca has been dancing since the age of 6 and trained as a classical dancer at the Arts Educational School and graduated with a diploma in dance.

After leaving the Arts Educational School she appeared with many dance companies and has danced all over the UK.
Franca has also performed at the Churchill Theatre, the Broadway Theatre in West End Musicals and at the London Palladium. Her passion and experience for dance is embedded in the mission statement of Horniman Dance School: Learn, Dance, Live.

Franca and Lisette Foster teach up to 200 enthusiastic pupils each week. Horniman Dance School follow the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet syllabus and the Imperial of teachers of dance Tap and Modern Syllabus.
